Our Systems Accountant

Join our established finance team as a proactive and analytical Systems Accountant to support the ongoing development and optimisation of our financial systems and processes. You will act as the vital bridge between the finance and IT departments, ensuring systems are aligned with business needs and delivering maximum efficiency, accuracy, and insight.

While prior experience with Sage X3 is desirable, we are equally open to candidates with a strong accounting systems background who are enthusiastic and capable of learning this ERP platform.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop our Sage X3 ERP system.
  • Be the main link between Finance and IT.
  • Improve processes with automation and smarter reporting.
  • Configure, test, and train users on system changes.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance at all times.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and a clear communicator.
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
  • ERP/finance system experience (Sage X3, SAP, Oracle, Netsuite).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Bonus: Sage X3 experience, SQL/database knowledge, integration know-how.
