Our Email Marketing Lead
We're looking for a data-driven, strategic, and creative Email Marketing Lead to take ownership of our email marketing strategy. You'll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising email campaigns that drive engagement, nurture leads, and increase customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end email marketing process: planning, segmentation, A/B testing, deployment, and performance analysis.
- Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies (welcome, nurture, re-engagement, win-back).
- Manage email campaigns including newsletters, promotional offers, product announcements, and other transactional messages.
- Segment customer lists and personalise content to improve open rates, CTR, and conversions.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and product teams to develop compelling emails.
- Monitor and report on KPIs such as deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Ensure all emails follow industry best practices and comply with GDPR and other regulations.
- Optimise email automation workflows using Hubspot.

What we're looking for
- At least 3 years experience in digital marketing, with a focus on email
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Klaviyo) with hands-on experience in email automation, segmentation, and customer journey mapping.
- Skilled in campaign planning, briefing, and execution—crafting persuasive subject lines, CTAs, and dynamic content.
- Strong grasp of brand tone, personalised messaging, and mobile-responsive template tweaks.
- Confident analysing performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions, A/B tests) and using tools like Google Analytics.
- Knowledgeable in GDPR, email laws, and deliverability best practices.
- Experienced in managing email calendars and collaborating across teams (design, content, product, tech).
- Background in eCommerce—ideally within food & drink retail or production—is a plus.
- Familiar with AI-driven marketing tools is beneficial
