Our Laundry Assistant

As Laundry Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our operations running smoothly by delivering and collecting linen, uniforms and towels, and handling laundry processes. You’ll work across the estate to support our busy Housekeeping team, rotating between three day shifts. The work is physical and fast-paced, and we’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and ready to get stuck in.

Shift times, all worked over a 6 week period, are:

• 7:30am-4pm
• 8:30am - 5pm
• 9:30am-6pm

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver linen, uniforms, towels and other items across the estate
• Operate washing and drying equipment in line with laundry procedures
• Keep the laundry area and vehicle clean and tidy at all times
• Report any equipment issues or stock shortages to the Housekeeping Manager
• Support the wider team with additional tasks as needed

Essential

• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual tasks throughout the day
• Friendly and approachable personality
• Good communication skills
• Able to follow instructions and work well independently
• Full UK driving licence

• Previous experience in a similar role
