About Candide

The Newt in Somerset works closely with Candide, who lead Digital Technology, Data, AI and CRM across The Newt in Somerset and our sister properties across the UK, South Africa, Italy and the Netherlands.

The Role

Candide are looking for a Senior BI Data Analyst to own and deliver high-quality reporting for our Hospitality and Ecommerce businesses. This is a hands-on, stakeholder-facing role, based on-site at The Newt in Somerset, working closely with commercial, operational and finance teams.

You will sit within Candide’s Data team, collaborating with analysts, engineers and CRM specialists, while acting as a trusted reporting partner to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end reporting solutions, from requirements through to rollout and training
• Build and maintain automated dashboards and reports across Hospitality and Ecommerce
• Translate operational and financial data into clear, trusted insights
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making
• Partner closely with stakeholders, explaining metrics, assumptions and variances
• Ensure data quality through validation, documentation and best practice

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience delivering BI reporting using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker
• Advanced SQL skills and confidence working across multiple data sources
• Proven ability to work closely with senior stakeholders
• Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience with Sage X3 or similar ERP systems
• Exposure to finance, hospitality, retail or ecommerce environments
