Our Transport Manager

Our Transport Manager plays a vital role in keeping our delivery operation running smoothly, efficiently, and compliantly. You will lead transport activity across home delivery and wholesale operations, managing driver rotas, route planning, fleet compliance, and carrier relationships while overseeing import and export documentation for UK and international shipments. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining operational leadership with hands-on coordination.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage import clearances and coordinate export shipments to business partners across South Africa, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, and other locations
  • Prepare commercial invoices, transport documentation, shipping invoices, and delivery claims
  • Manage carrier relationships and monitor performance across UK delivery operations
  • Review carrier invoices, raise purchase orders, and handle claims for lost or delayed deliveries
  • Plan delivery routes and driver rotas for home delivery and wholesale operations
  • Coordinate Cyder wholesale deliveries and quarterly subscription club deliveries
  • Lead and support a team of six drivers, ensuring excellent service standards and delivery efficiency
  • Oversee fleet compliance, including vehicle checks, MOTs, servicing schedules, repairs, rentals, and vehicle procurement support

What we're looking for

  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to coordinate routes, documentation, shipments, and driver rotas effectively
  • Experience managing and motivating drivers or transport teams to maintain high performance standards
  • Excellent attention to detail when handling invoices, shipping documentation, and compliance processes
  • Clear and confident communication skills when working with drivers, customers, carriers, and internal teams
  • A reliable and accountable approach with a focus on keeping deliveries on time and operations running smoothly
  • Experience with route planning software and import/export processes
  • Knowledge of UK carrier management and transport operations
  • A minimum of A-level qualifications, with transport or logistics qualifications and CPC being advantageous
